Who are the live instructor-led courses designed for?
They are designed for architecture and interior design students, recent graduates, working professionals, BIM team members and AEC organisations seeking practical Revit and BIM skills. Each course page identifies its expected starting level.
How are the live classes delivered?
Classes are delivered online in scheduled live sessions. The instructor demonstrates a professional workflow, learners practise it, and questions and common errors are reviewed before moving forward.
Are the courses command-based or project-based?
The courses are project-based. Software tools are introduced when they are needed to model, coordinate or document a realistic project—not as disconnected command lists.
What computer and internet connection do I need?
You need a computer capable of running the required Autodesk software, a stable broadband connection, a microphone and preferably a second screen. Course-specific software versions are listed before each batch.
Do I need to install Revit before the course begins?
Yes. Learners should install the stated Revit version and required content libraries before the first practical session. Preparation guidance is shared with confirmed participants.
What are the batch timings and duration?
Timings, number of sessions and total duration vary by programme and batch. The current schedule is shown on the relevant course page or shared during enrolment.
How large are the live batches?
Batch sizes are kept suitable for interaction, questions and review. The exact limit may vary by course format and is stated with the batch information.
What happens if I miss a live session?
Availability of recordings or catch-up support depends on the specific programme. Learners remain responsible for completing missed practice before the next session.
Will I receive class recordings?
If recordings are included, the course page will state the access period and conditions. Recordings are for the enrolled learner only and may not be copied, shared or redistributed.
Are assignments and practice files included?
Where applicable, learners receive project briefs, practice files, reference material, checklists or assignments aligned with the live sessions. Included resources are listed on the course page.
Can I ask questions outside the live class?
Support channels and response arrangements vary by programme. Live sessions remain the primary place for questions, demonstrations and review unless additional mentoring is explicitly included.
Will I receive a certificate?
A certificate may be issued when the stated attendance, assignment or project requirements are completed. Participation alone may not be sufficient where assessment is part of the course.
What is the cancellation and refund policy?
A full refund is available when cancellation is completed before the batch starts, subject to the published policy. No refund is available after commencement. One eligible batch transfer may be requested at least 72 hours before the original batch.
Can I transfer to another batch?
One transfer may be requested at least 72 hours before the original batch starts, subject to availability, fee differences and the conditions in the Refund, Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy.
Do you offer group or corporate enrolments?
Yes. Architecture and interior design firms, engineering consultants, EPC contractors and managed co-working space providers can request customised training, implementation and mentoring programmes.
How do I choose the right course?
Review the prerequisites, outcomes and project scope on each course page. If you are unsure, contact BimSrv Academy with your background, current role and learning objective.
